It seems there is an endless stream of planes getting in line to depart.  The FAA controllers are there at the runway threshold in a small booth directing the departures.  A sign near the threshold says "Tune to 119.5 now!".  The controllers send the planes off at a rate of about one every 30 seconds.

The last plane in line here is a turboprop Lancair IV-P.  The "P" means it is pressurized.  The engine is a 750 HP Walter 601E turboprop engine.  Cruise speed at 26,000 ft is approximately 340 kts (390 mph).  Can you say "fast glass"?
