It is a little after 7 AM on Friday morning and many of those who flew in
early in the week are lining up to leave before the weekend
"tourists" arrive. If this plane in the foreground looks fast
it's because it is. It is a Staudacher S-300 designed and built by Jon
Staudacher (pronounced Stawd-a-ker) of Kawkawlin, Michigan in 1990.
His goal was to build a world class unlimited aerobatic aircraft on par with
the German Extra. Approximately 2 dozen were built.
