My morning trek through Homebuilt Camping finds this recent arrival.
It has an interesting paint job to say the least. I never was able
to contact the owner to find the story behind the paint job. Maybe
next year. Oh yeah, this is a Bellanca 14-19-2 "Cruisemaster" built
in 1958. The aircraft has wooden wings with a "tube and rag" fuselage
and tail. The engine is a 230 hp Continental O-470. The Cruisemaster
was the last of the Bellanca "triple tail" aircraft and was the last Bellanca
taildragger as well.
